Systems/Programmer/Analyst

We are looking for a talented systems programmer to join our IT team. You will work with others to develop innovative web-based solutions primarily to assist on our Data Science team in the execution of highly-personalized data-driven direct mail. This is a hands-on, action-oriented position in a fast-growing company.

 

  • Company location: Suffern, NY. During the COVID-19 pandemic this is a work-from-home position
  • Expected hours of work: This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and enhance programs in these primary languages: Javascript, Java, Coldfusion, and Python
  • You will work with our data science team to develop and improve applications using Alteryx and other interconnected software/scripting languages
  • Interacting with cloud platforms incl. Google Cloud Platform and AWS
  • Troubleshoot across the entire tech stack
  • Work with teams to implement new product features, drive testing and improve data quality in a cost-effective manner
  • Assist in the design of the back-end and front-end infrastructure, including APIs
  • Document your activities and processes
  • Recommend strategic technology and tools to improve our IT efficiency and workflow

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 5+ years of systems programming and integrations in a corporate environment
  • S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Passion about automating everything and applying scientific methods to solve business requirements and make the team more efficient
  • A desire to work closely with programmers, data scientists and stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of data query languages (e.g, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Knowledge of data modeling and techniques.
  • Excellence in project planning and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and a highly professional approach to be able effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teammates and stakeholders
  • Team and execution oriented. Builds positive company culture, highly engaged, solicits and provides feedback proactively, self-starter, results oriented who relies on objective evidence and resolves issues both in a non-confrontational way
  • Experience with machine learning, security and data privacy a plus
  • Experience with visualization technologies (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and systems integration are not required, but a plus to have

Director of Marketing

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to plan, design, manage and execute effective marketing strategies and tactics in support of our business goals. This is a hands-on position with an opportunity to be creative and innovative in a fast-growing company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the marketing strategy in support of business goals
  • Assist Business Development (BD) team with demand generation and campaigns to build marketing qualified leads (MQLs).  Grow and improve the Salesforce CRM data
  • Assist BD in preparing customized RFP responses
  • Identifying, planning and coordinating client and trade events
  • Develop and execute marketing automation to drive top-of-funnel activity
  • Grow and managing social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn, in line with our marketing strategy
  • End to end management of our awards process, from identifying awards, mapping out deadlines to helping plan and prepare entries
  • Manage web site, including general updates as well as SEO, analysis and reporting. Work with creative teams and developers on complex updates
  • Work with account managers on client success programs, gifting, etc.
  • Enhance branding and product recognition and positioning
  • Develop product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Maintaining our library of brand assets including pitch decks, working cross-department to ensure everyone is using latest templates and other assets
  • Develop and maintain case studies and testimonials. Write copy and work with copywriter on articles and blog posts
  • Identify PR opportunities and work with internal teams to develop press releases and events and internal communications and events
  • Develop and execute a social responsibility strategy, including charitable giving and community outreach 
  • Management of marketing budgets
  • Provide management with relevant marketing metrics and recommendations for continuous improvement, and communicate marketing strategies companywide

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Minimum seven years in a B2B or B2C Marketing role, either agency side or client side
  • BA or MA degree in Marketing, Communication or similar relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations, proposals and general copywriting. A confident, articulate communication style
  • Strong command of English and grammar
  • Experience maintaining a website, and social media accounts. Good understanding of digital targeting, SEO, LinkedIn, PPC, Google analytics
  • A highly professional character. Team oriented
  • Fluency in MS Office – PowerPoint in particular
  • A proven track record of exceptional performance and high productivity, marketing planning and budgeting
  • Experience with Marketing automation, email development and deployment
  • Availability to travel in excess of 10% of the time
