Systems/Programmer/Analyst

We are looking for a talented systems programmer to join our IT team. You will work with others to develop innovative web-based solutions primarily to assist on our Data Science team in the execution of highly-personalized data-driven direct mail. This is a hands-on, action-oriented position in a fast-growing company.

 

  • Company location: Suffern, NY
  • Expected hours of work: This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and enhance programs in these primary languages: Javascript, Java, Coldfusion, and Python
  • You will work with our data science team to develop and improve applications using Alteryx and other interconnected software/scripting languages
  • Interacting with cloud platforms incl. Google Cloud Platform and AWS
  • Troubleshoot across the entire tech stack
  • Work with teams to implement new product features, drive testing and improve data quality in a cost-effective manner
  • Assist in the design of the back-end and front-end infrastructure, including APIs
  • Document your activities and processes
  • Recommend strategic technology and tools to improve our IT efficiency and workflow

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 5+ years of systems programming and integrations in a corporate environment
  • S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Passion about automating everything and applying scientific methods to solve business requirements and make the team more efficient
  • A desire to work closely with programmers, data scientists and stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of data query languages (e.g, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Knowledge of data modeling and techniques.
  • Excellence in project planning and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and a highly professional approach to be able effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teammates and stakeholders
  • Team and execution oriented. Builds positive company culture, highly engaged, solicits and provides feedback proactively, self-starter, results oriented who relies on objective evidence and resolves issues both in a non-confrontational way
  • Experience with machine learning, security and data privacy a plus
  • Experience with visualization technologies (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and systems integration are not required, but a plus to have

 

Production Graphic Artist

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented design professional to join our graphic production team. You will create and collaborate with all parts of the direct mail production process, working with the sales department, to the core design and production work, as well as the data and production teams.

  • Design of various direct mail pieces for multiple retailers, turning their ideas into professional, creative, compelling, effective marketing materials
  • Alignment of design with corporate brand standards or job requirements
  • Ability to prioritize in accordance with an established press schedule and fulfilling creative obligation of each given job in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Creative Director, Marketing Team, Design Team, Web Department, Customer Service and Sales Department.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design or related fields
  • Experience on Mac platform
  • Strong knowledge of industry tools including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Strong drive to learn and utilize creative mentality
  • Up to date on evolving design trends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Flexible working style that allows for multi-tasking and collaboration various company departments
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience transforming print documents into web pages or email content is a plus.

 

Print Quality Assurance Lead

We are looking for an experienced quality assurance professional to join our Graphics Production team. You will proofread PDF files at various stages of the production process and compare content (proofs) for accuracy against supplied documentation and assets to ensure that they meet client expectations and business objectives. Strong communication skills are essential. The need to interact with various team members to identify and correct any inconsistencies is a core component in this job.

  • Follow internal quality standards and protocol
  • Reviewing print shop processes and recommending improvements and fixes
  • Examine completed, but not yet printed, client production runs
  • Review jobs for errors, inconsistencies and other issues
  • Ensure that product received prior to printing are matched to specifications in job file
  • Communicate any errors that need correcting to production team and where needed, implement corrections themselves
  • Daily inspections of final print materials

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 5+ years of print shop experience
  • Prior quality assurance/control experience
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various departments
  • Ability to identify errors and efficiently communicate up and down the production chain
  • Knowledge of Inkjet Web Technology Printing a plus
  • Knowledge of XMPie a plus
  • Lives within a commutable distance from Albany; south of Albany a plus to reduce drive to Suffern

 

Account Executive (AE)

We are looking for an experienced client care professional to join our Client Success team. You will work with industry leading multi-channel retailers developing, evaluating and executing their direct marketing efforts. This is a hands-on, action-oriented position in a fast-growing company.

  • Position location: Suffern, NY. This role requires approximately 5 – 10% travel nationally

  • Lead the planning, development and execution of direct marketing programs for assigned clients in a manner which promotes a long-term multi-solution partnership
  • Using a consultative approach working with key client decisionmakers, identify and understand client challenges and business needs to provide the best solutions and additional revenue opportunities
  • Ensure client satisfaction by setting and meeting client expectations. Execute highly professional, high-caliber client status meetings, discussions and presentations, including post-campaign analysis both in person and via web and phone meetings
  • Understand and effectively communicate our product offering and communicate the value proposition of our products and services throughout the process
  • Manages the internal team to meet client expectations, execute campaigns and day-to-day deliverables. “Own” client campaigns from start to finish
  • Work effectively with Sales team to ensure timely, high-quality client launches

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 5+ years in a client facing Account Executive or similar role
  • BA or MA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communication or a similar relevant field
  • Marketing account management experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of direct marketing a plus
  • Significant organizational skills and experience with CRM tools and MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain relationships and marketing plans and proposals. A highly professional character, and confident, articulate communication style
  • Team and execution oriented. Builds positive company culture, highly engaged, solicits andprovides feedback proactively, self-starter, results oriented who relies on objective evidence and resolves issues both internally and externally in a non-confrontational way
  • Experience effectively negotiating and upselling
