Marketing Data Analyst

As the Marketing Data Analyst, you join our Data Insights team in supporting the day to day execution and analytics of direct marketing campaigns and metrics. You will ensure timely and accurate support of our company’s strategic and operational goals while supporting our client base in the execution of marketing campaigns. In this position you will work directly with the Sales and Data Insights teams.

  • Expected hours of work: This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with large data files, read-in of client and bank OTB data as required
  • In support of client Event Marketing campaigns – determine proper piece counts and open credit amounts to pull final campaign list
  • Push campaign lists to proprietary software to generate the campaign
  • Determine and create holdouts groups for required campaigns for ROI Evaluation
  • In support of catalogs, pull final campaign list
  • For ad-hoc requests, including catalog, create contact tables to allow for post campaign ROI analysis
  • Develop phone and social media marketing lists as required
  • Investigate the performance of a company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluation key performance metrics
  • Own creation of new clients and related data including store locations in our internal job management system
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests for data management, campaign execution and related reporting

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel skills are a must and other data analytic software
  • Ability to understand and interpret transactional and secondary data sources
  • Bachelors Degree or 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented team member
  • Experience in marketing or data analysis
  • Knowledge of segment criteria for marketing lists
  • A team player with good communications skills
