Head of Marketing

Reporting to the Chief Strategy of Growth Officer, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for Leading the development of all marketing plans. Ensuring the implementation of effective marketing strategies. Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services. Reviewing and reporting on all areas of the marketing strategies and its implementation.

  • Expected hours of work: This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s marketing strategy, with priority on market and product positioning, and being to translate value, differentiation and positioning into all Marketing outputs, content and collateral. Develop integrated Demand Gen programs to drive expansion for new market diversification. Collaborate on Go To Market plans for product launches. Conduct market research as needed to inform strategy and tactics. Own, protect and enhance the brand
  • Utilize and optimize all aspects of marketing disciplines including product marketing, Account Based Marketing, PR, digital advertising, email, social media, and events
  • Own website and related optimization of content and SEO to support Demand Gen
  • Build marketecture, brand assets, collateral and pitch materials that enable Sales to produce rapid and impactful RFP responses and proposals in a consistent manner. Working with Sales, develop and maintain testimonials and case studies
  • Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that all marketing investments and activities are cost-effective and aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with and support cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer support. Support Customer Marketing programs to support cross sell and awareness in the customer base
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to maximize ROI. Provide Management with relevant reporting on key marketing programs and KPI’s
  • Develop and execute a social responsibility strategy, including charitable giving and community outreach
  • Maintain a large and growing Event schedule
  • Conversant with Marketing Automation platform deployment and utilization
  • Hire, develop and manage a team of marketing professionals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies, vendors, and media outlets

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a growing business. Strong Product Marketing background with experience managing and growing Demand Gen and Content Marketing functions
  • Experience opening new markets and launching new products
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth and increase brand awareness in a rapidly scaling business
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the desire and ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to execute hands on
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with SaaS and direct marketing discipline strongly preferred
