We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Web Application Developer to join our team. As a Web Application Developer, you will play a key role in developing new and exciting technologies in the marketing field. This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates located in the Southern California / San Diego are.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge web solutions using the latest technologies
- Utilize your expertise in Google Cloud Platform to build scalable and secure web applications
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring optimal performance across multiple devices and browsers
- Utilize advanced technologies to enhance visitor identity and tracking
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the web development and marketing domains
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of web applications
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards
- Assist in the identification and resolution of technical issues, troubleshooting problems as they arise
- Work within a team focused on new technologies, visitor tracking, and advanced security principles
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Application Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Must be able to travel to New York 2-3 times a quarter, work on Eastern time, and meet in person with the team leader weekly
- Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and its associated services, such as Google App Engine, Google Cloud Storage, and Google Cloud Functions
- Proficiency in bleeding edge web technologies, frameworks, and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to build modern and interactive user interfaces
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with back-end technologies and programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) to build scalable web applications
- Familiarity with web analytics tools
- Experience with legacy languages such as ColdFusion
- Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, as you’ll be working closely with various teams and stakeholders
